Hailing from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory of Ontario, Chyann has given her 100% since her arrival at Sheridan College in the Media Fundamentals program (even if it means giving friends iced coffee because they said “Jinx” first). Specializing in lights, camera, and producing, Chyann has invested immensely in the Film and Television productions as both a producer and a cinematographer while providing unique and ambitious creative ideas. She spends her spare time running an improv club, drinking tons of coffee, and stalking the Food Network website.

Madison Roscoe is a young filmmaker from the small town of Komoka, Ontario, residing on the countryside of London. She has shown an interest in film for numerous years, from producing her high school’s video morning announcements to attending Sheridan College for a Bachelor’s degree. Her love for storytelling has always been relevant throughout her life, even as a young child. Her main interests include editing, directing and being organised. Madison has worked on many projects throughout her years at Sheridan and hopes to work as an editor at a major production company.

Erin was born and raised in a generic middle-class family that hails from the mean streets of the Canadian suburbs. Disenchanted with the values of suburban living, she turned to film as an escape from a rather young age. When it came time to pursue post-secondary education, Erin had dreams of being a Broadway star. She was going to spend three years in Brockville focusing on a Musical Theatre diploma, but considering one requires at least a degree to get even the lowest paying job in today’s market, she decided to pursue film instead. She only regrets it half the time.

Born in Brockville Ontario, Dylan Robert grew up on a dairy farm in Spencerville. At an early age, Dylan showed an interest in storymaking; however, it was not until high school that Dylan got his first camera. Inspired from directors such as Steven Spielberg and Jackie Chan, Dylan began making his own action home movies with his friends and quickly realised that he wanted to pursue film. He is now enrolled in Sheridan College for the Bachelor of Film and Television program. He hopes one day that he can direct feature films and/or edit projects.

Growing up in southern China, Xiya is an international student in Canada studying films. Before she came to Canada, she was an art student skilled in multiple painting techniques. She possesses an artistic vision both conceptually and visually. Because of an opportunity, she got into films and wanted to be trained in all aspects of pre-production and post-production. She hopes to, one day, combine her experiences in graphic arts and cinema arts together to create unique art.

Born and raised in the Toronto suburb of Brampton, Ontario, Jake Howard spent the majority of his childhood watching movies, reading books, playing video games, and enjoying the great outdoors. Having digested so many stories across a broad variety of mediums, Jake took to creative writing at a young age as a way to express his own artistic voice. As the years progressed, he developed a strong passion and admiration for the field of history, and sought to pursue a career in said field. Fate had other ideas, however, and Jake’s passion for storytelling and film won out, prompting him to study the art form at Sheridan College.

Attending Sheridan College in the Bachelor of Film and Television program, Megan has begun to explore the world of film by following the paths of cinematography and editing. Her skill set has expanded with the creation of multiple short films and she hopes to continue to grow as an artist. The teamwork and passion that is present is remarkable; she is able to fit any role that is required and is always willing to learn more. She has experience in sound design, picture editing, and cinematography.

Scout Stolpmann runs a small bank in the West Nile. After being forced off the island by savages, he had a mid-life crisis. Unsure what to do with his life, he started a pyramid scheme with the president of Enron. In order to pay for legal fees, he does sound on student films.

Growing up on an isolated farm near St. Thomas, Ontario, V.E. Ross became so attached to the video medium that she decided to become a filmmaker at the ripe age of 9. Also invested in creative writing from her youth, she entered the arts at Parkside Collegiate Institute with a couple of video productions and acting roles. Now in her third year of the BFTV program at Sheridan College, V.E. Ross strives to hone her production skills while specializing in writing, directing and editing.
