Urban Gold is a short documentary taking a look into the lives and practices of Urban Beekeepers in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area. The documentary will look at the lives of active beekeepers in the region as well as a unique bee rescue organization. We explore the stories of what initially got the beekeepers into the field, their challenges, and their involvement in the small but strong community of beekeepers. Like a bee hive, they work together and support each other, encouraging this unique urban agriculture.
