Vanessa England Ross, Director

Growing up on an isolated farm near St. Thomas, Ontario, V.E. Ross became so attached to the video medium that she decided to become a filmmaker at the ripe age of 9. Also invested in creative writing from her youth, she entered the arts at Parkside Collegiate Institute with a couple of video productions and acting roles. Her love for film expanded further at Western University, graduating with an Honours Bachelor in Film Studies and a published research paper on the initial audience reaction to Disney’s Fantasia. Now in her third year of the BFTV program at Sheridan College, V.E. Ross strives to hone her production skills while specializing in writing, directing and editing. She continues to act and exercise her academic passions through her personal side project, the web review series Into the Mouse Hole.
